Investigation on the tribological property of marine engine bearing

Abstract The marine engine is one of the core devices ship. With continuous progress science and technology, engines are developing towards high power density, related tribological problems more prominent. As most typical friction pairs engines, crankshaft-bearing bush bears loads presents a trend increased wear. By studying wear behavior bearing bush, it possible to deeply grasp mechanism, speed up research development process further improve resistance. In this paper, for pairing pair, component-level testing machine built, corresponding test method established. binary electroplating an alloy shaft pair selected experiment, law explored.
